Our first flagship began as a lifestyle leisure hotel serving travellers visiting Phnom Penh. But in 2016–2017, as Cambodia entered a new era of economic growth, a wave of international business travelers surged into the city—yet the hotel landscape was still dominated by modest local inns and lacked refined offerings for executives.

We saw the gap—and the opportunity.

Lumiere quickly transformed into one of Phnom Penh’s first executive boutique hotels, purposefully designed to meet the needs of discerning business travelers. We elevated our spaces to offer more than just a comfortable stay. Our rooms doubled as workspaces. Our lounges became informal boardrooms. Our rooftop dining offered a place where deals were made against the stunning backdrop of the Phnom Penh skyline.

We created not just a hotel—but a platform for productivity, connection, and fine living. This vision became the foundation of our flagship hotel in Phnom Penh and marked the beginning of the Lumiere hospitality journey.
